I graduated with a PhD in Cognition and Perception at New York University in 2018. Broadly, my academic work investigated the neurocognitive mechanisms by which we assign value to, act upon, and gather information about our environments, with a particular focus on the role of emotion. Going forward, I am interested in using my experimental and quantitative skills to perform causal inference and design interventions in other domains. Currently, I work as a data scientist at a mobile app company, where I leverage statistical and machine learning methods to predict and optimize business outcomes using quantitative data.
